About Mandi Sulgit

Mandi Sulgit is a director, writer, cinematographer, and actor whose work spans independent film, festival selections, and collaborative productions in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a director, she helmed projects including Don't Mind The Hive, Honey (Gavilan Film Festival Selection), Dirty Laundry, and Live On Channel Whatever, while also serving as writer and lead actor on Dirty Laundry. She is the first assistant director for the short films My Mark, Under The Skin, Mystery Envelope, and The Heir We Buried. She is the casting director and script supervisor for The Coyote and the production designer for Hellish Friends (De Anza Film Festival selection).

As an actor, Mandi can be see in lead roles in Imago, The Fifth Point, Saturday Singles, Clear Your Mind, Rock Paper Scissors, Anima (BASH Film Festival Selection), Union (BASH Film Festival Selection), as well as supporting performances in Dew and Run!, voice acting for Closeted Dysphoria, and appearances in B2B, Don't Mind The Hive, and the SAG microproduction, Nonprofiting. She is an associate producer for upcoming TV pilot, The Chunk. Through every role, Mandi brings a unique creative vision rooted in emotionally driven storytelling and independent cinema. 

Prior to filmmaking, Mandi was the YouTube Technology Solutions team lead for the launch of YouTubeTV. She holds a certificate in Television Production from Cosumnes River College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Menlo College.
